Well-fitting earplugs cost normally hundreds of euros. But BOLLSEN Life+ earplugs are an alternative to custom otoplasty from audiologists: Thanks to the conical 2-lamellae design, the earplugs perfectly adapt to your ears, regardless of their shape. The soft silicone adapts to your ear canal and they feel custom-made at a fraction of the effort and price.
Our standard version is designed for medium-sized ear canals. They usually sit well, especially for tall women or small to average-sized men.
Short answer: Yes. Life+ is also suitable for noise cancellation while in the office, university school, or at home. They help block out surrounding noises and help focus on studying or working.
If you have small to medium ear canals, Life+’s standard size may be just right for you. We recommend our AR KI Tech ear measurement for very small or large ears: Just send us photos of your ears and we will send you the correct size.
Push the clean earplugs gently into your ear canal while turning them slightly. They should close your ear canal completely but do not force them too deep. The tab allows you to easily remove them at any given time.

Best ear plugs so far
When I initially purchased a set of earplugs a year ago, I wasn’t sure if I would really find them comfortable or useful, but I am now purchasing my second set. These really do block out sound effectively, and they are comfortable to wear, even as a side sleeper. I do find this updated version slightly trickier to insert, but they are a bit more comfortable when lying on my side than the previous version. I really recommend these, particularly for mums like myself whose bodies never let go of the instinct to wake at every noise, even years after having babies!
I haven’t used any hearing protectors to help me sleep before and wasn’t sure if I’d find them comfortable. These are exactly what I needed, do not give me any discomfort and I now get a night’s sleep free from distracting sounds, especially snoring.
These came to me and as expected and perform well. They don't block 100% of the snoring from my partner but allow me to rest. They are comfortable and wash well and I love the carrying case as to protect them from my curious cats.
I've tried so many different ear plugs over the years and none of them have been as comfortable or effective as these!
I was very happy with my ear plugs, it was the first time I'd ever tried this type and they worked a treat. I like the neat case they are in too. Ordering was a quick and easy process. Items comfortable to wear, just takes a little wiggling to get them properly in place. Once they are, they really do work well at blocking out the worst noise.
When I bought the Life+ ear plugs I thought I had found the best product I could to drown out my husband’s snoring. They are a very good product and I still recommend them. I noted recently (sorry I did not see it before) that for a very small increase (approx £3 per set) that I could have the same plugs in a size most suited to my ears. I got my husband to photograph both ears and sent the photos to Bollsen.
I was surprised when my ear plugs arrived- they were so much smaller than the others. I must admit I was somewhat sceptical that these would work. They are, without doubt, fantastic, I have not slept so well for ages.
A little increase in costs for an outstanding increase in satisfaction
I received my earplugs very soon, the quality it's very good. Unfortunately they didn't work for me so I had to send them back. Communication with Customer service department was great, nice and quick. First class!!
I bought them for my daughter as she is disturbed by snoring noises etc in the night. She says they are good, BUT the ear plugs keep falling out of her ears, even though she twists and pushes them in quite firmly.
