Well-fitting earplugs cost normally hundreds of euros. But BOLLSEN Life+ earplugs are an alternative to custom otoplasty from audiologists: Thanks to the conical 2-lamellae design, the earplugs perfectly adapt to your ears, regardless of their shape. The soft silicone adapts to your ear canal and they feel custom-made at a fraction of the effort and price.
Our standard version is designed for medium-sized ear canals. They usually sit well, especially for tall women or small to average-sized men.
Short answer: Yes. Life+ is also suitable for noise cancellation while in the office, university school, or at home. They help block out surrounding noises and help focus on studying or working.
If you have small to medium ear canals, Life+’s standard size may be just right for you. We recommend our AR KI Tech ear measurement for very small or large ears: Just send us photos of your ears and we will send you the correct size.
Push the clean earplugs gently into your ear canal while turning them slightly. They should close your ear canal completely but do not force them too deep. The tab allows you to easily remove them at any given time.

I have used Bollsen ear plugs many times in the past and they are the best that I have tried. I recently ordered 2 pairs, however I am finding that the new style are uncomfortable in my ears, it may be that they are too large for me 😐
I’ve been using these ear plugs for a few nights now. They took a while to arrive as our post is terrible here but the wait was worth it. Our neighbours have had friends visiting and I’m told the music went on into the early hours. I didn’t hear any of it. I’m so pleased I decided to try these ear plugs.
These ear plugs definitely reduce the surrounding noise so I am gratefull. They are a little large on the outside so protrude a few mm more than I would like as I am a side sleeper and cause some pressure but overall they perform their function well.
Had trouble sleeping for what seems like forever - not any longer
Even my wife’s snoring is subdued enough, that I can still sleep, until my alarm - which I’ve had to turn up!

Bought direct from Bollsen. Plugs looked substantial online. When they arrived,very quickly l must say, they appeared rather flimsy. Seem to be made from a type of silicone. However, l was pleasantly surprised. It takes a wee bit of practice to get them into the right position in the ear canal. Initially l found that my ear was a little tender from pressure soreness in one ear. Probably because l am a side sleeper and hadn't quite inserted the plug in the right position. A bit of practice finding the right position in the ear canal alleviated the discomfort. The plugs once inserted create a vacuum in the ear canal as they warm up. They do not cut out all the noise but they eliminate most noise. My partner is a noisy breather, hence me trying plugs and l must say these plugs are the bees knees. I found that l do not hear her at all now and have been having great sleeps since using these plugs. I would highly recommend the product.
I’ve been using these for nearly a year now and they’ve really helped me sleep better. They are comfortable and easy to insert (once you get the hang of it) and hugely reduce the sounds that used to disturb my sleep - planes, traffic, husband snuffling or snoring, etc. So pleased I discovered these.
They come with a very handy little metal tube for storage when travelling etc - I wish this were optional however as you really don’t need a new one with each purchase.

I am a very light sleeper, so good earplugs are essential for me. For years I've been using the foam variety, commonly available in shops. However, Bollsen work much better for me, as they create a tight seal and - for lack of a better word - mini-vacuum inside my ear canal, and that really does the trick for me.
I have very heavy-footed neighbours in the flat above mine, with a very active toddler, whose stomping I can still hear early in the morning - hence four stars, as I was hoping for near-total silence with Bollsen.
I will be buying those again, but need to check if something even more robust is available. But overall - these are very good.
